Moin, it's Brigade Helbing!!! Finally pressed in Rille!!! The Hamburg Oi! punk veterans play the classic German Oi! sound of the 90s, which is where they come from.
Deliberately unwieldy, punky and old school. Scholzer and Eike were active in the bands Testosteron and Smegma in their younger years. They just felt like drinking beer in the rehearsal room again and playing the old songs. They brought in Dennis from the Harbour Rebels on guitar and Frank from L.A.K. on drums as reinforcements; both old friends from the FC St. Pauli fan scene.
The original idea that everyone would bring the hits of their bands was quickly discarded. The lyrics are mature and you can clearly hear the decades in the scene. No one in this band needs to pose anymore. The debut EP contains six songs, including a cover version of L.A.K.'s "Mehr Als Fußball" (More Than Football), an old favourite from the St. Pauli fan scene.
With the support of Jule, singer of the Harbour Rebels, together with Scholzer in a duet. In her opinion, the best pairing since Cindy & Bert.
